"First time seeing The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe Crowes' music live and it was my most disappointing show ever. They started with a couple folksy tunes, which was okay as a warmup, but then straight to jam band mode. Chris sings for 2 minutes, then turns around and watches the drummer as the guitarists jam interminably. Every now and then Chris looks at them and nods. Not being stoned, I didn't enjoy it. I wanted to yell, "Play some songs! Something we know!" They sang the best song of my short night from the Raising Sand album by Robert Plant and Alison Krauss. I figured they would rock the roof off and everyone would be singing/screaming along. An hour and 15 minutes into it, I understood nothing else would happen. I didn't pay to see the Grateful Dead. These guys suck live. I left and caught the second half of the LSU-Florida football game. I would have never thought."
